Maps and directions to Renaissance Craftsmen Restoration Posted Aug. 28, 2003 RCR is located behind the Forest Park Mall in Forest Park, IL.
Visitors will find the entrance to our factory-like shop by entering a service drive off Roosevelt Rd. just East of Des Plaines Ave, or just West of Circle Ave. Both have lights. The service drive is by the side of a Taco Bell restaurant in front of the Mall.
Drive south on the service drive straight back and curving to the right. You will progress through 2 stop signs. We are simply behind the mall. There will be a collection of "Mayflower" moving semi-trucks in our parking lot.
Please note that we are not in the "Bulk Mail Facility".
Directions from the North: (North West Suburbs)
South to the Eisenhower Expwy. (290)
290 East toward the city of Chicago.
Exit 290 at the Des Plaines Ave exit.
Take Des Plaines right or South to Roosevelt Rd.
Turn left at Roosevelt and proceed to the Taco Bell Drive which will be on the right.
Direction from the North: (Edens Expwy.or Loop)
Edens South to 290 W.
290 W. to the Harlem Ave. exit (exit on left)
Turn left going South on Harlem Ave.
Go to Roosevelt Rd.
Turn Right going West on Roosevelt Rd.
Pass the light at Circle Ave. and notice the Taco Bell on your left a short distance ahead.
Turn left into the Taco Bell service drive and follow straight back and curve to the right with two short stop signs.
Park just beyond the Mayflower Trucks in the parking lot.
Directions from the West Suburbs:
It is entirely possible to take Roosevelt Rd. directly East from any west suburb if convenient to Forest Park. Cross Des Plaines Ave. on Roosevelt as you are going East and watch for the Taco Bell service drive on your right at the end of the Forest Park Mall. Enter the service drive at the Taco Bell and travel straight back toward the Bulk Mail Facility but bend to the right with two short stop signs. This brings you around to the back of the Mall. Park just beyond the Mayflower Trucks. Our doorway is next to the nine truck dock bays facing north on the back side of the mall near the Mayflower Trucks.
Directions from the South Suburbs:
Travel North on 294 (Tri State Tollway). If you are traveleing from as far as Highway 80 you will pass through 3 tolls as you near an exchange which allows you to travel to 290 E. (Eisenhower Expwy).
Connect with 290 E. toward Chicago and take it to the Des Plaines Ave. exit. Take Des Plaines Ave South to Roosevelt Rd.
Go Left or East on Roosevelt Rd.
Continue East on Roosevelt Rd. a short distance to the Taco Bell which you will see on the right toward the end of the mall. Turn right into the service drive which is next to the Taco Bell and follow south back behind the mall. This road will bear right with two short stop signs. Park just beyond the Mayflower trucks in our parking lot.
You will see a small doorway next to nine truck bays and docks at our building.
Alternate Directions from The South Suburbs:
It is possible to reach Roosevelt Rd. from any major artery such as Mannheim Rd Rt. 45, 1st Ave., Harlem Ave (Rt. 43) and others.
Once you have reached Roosevelt Rd. please follow directions as given from other directions in this series.
