RCR Hosts Piano Technicians Guild Meetings
Known as the 1st Tuesday Club, we meet every 1st Tuesday to explore interesting topics in piano technology. Posted Apr. 10, 2006 RCR is pleased to host a monthly meeting for Associate Members of the Chicago Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Known as the 1st Tuesday Club, we meet every 1st Tuesday to explore interesting topics in piano technology that pertain to our work as field technicians and tuners.
The next meeting scheduled for Tuesday June 6th will be held at the Cappelli Institute of Music in Oak Park. The address is 212 S. Marion St. 2nd Floor Suite 16. The topic will be: Tuning, & Prep work for the Studio or performance piano. We will touch on stability and action consistency issues and go through grand regulation procedures at a good quality 7' grand piano that is used regularly for instruction and performances.
